The recommended “Pleinair MTB” team of instructors offers mountain bike guided tours to discover the valley, its paths, its high mountains over 4000 meters, its flora, its fauna, its lakes, its castles. Some of these excursions run through the Mont Blanc region with stunning views of the highest mountains in Europe.

Downhill cycling in Aosta Valley
Some of the local ski resorts like Pila, keep their chair-lifts and cable-cars running during the summer, making them ideal locations for downhill cycling. “Pila Mountain bike planet” is famous for “active holidays” showcasing a true “bike-stadium”: 4 main tracks and 3 permanent mountain bike slopes with different degrees of difficulty, 1 free ride track towards Aosta, going down a 1700mts. gradient slope 11 km long.
Pila is the first resort in Aosta Valley and the only one in the western Alps with a downhill slope.. and it’s only 2kms from our hotel.
