“Magnificent views and extremely clean”.
Stayed here on 14th September for one night as a stopover place. Not knowing the area we chose the option of staying on half board basis. This hotel has parking which was useful as we were travelling by car. Since we were travelling with kids, we were accomodated in two rooms. The one facing the front of the hotel had a beautiful view both in the bedroom as well as in the bathroom. The other room which faced the back was slightly smaller but still had an impressive view of the mountains. This hotel was so incredibly clean I was genuinely impressed. It seems to cater for coach tours too but this does not detract from the hospitality of the hosts. We ate there at dinner time and the meal from a set menu was delicious. Breakfast was also really good with a selection of fancy breads, tarts and cake, cheese, cold meats and fruit. I wish we could have stayed here for longer! I could not fault it in any way
I've stayed in many hotels in the Aosta valley and this is probably the best for quality and value. Its a very Italian hotel, we were the only English people in the hotel and the staff did'nt speak much English. It's a very clean hotel and the restaurant serves local dishes at cheap prices. eg starter, pasta dish, main and wine all for 16 euros. Its not in Aosta as many maps suggest, its 2km out in a small affluent village called Pollein. Will stay here again.
